Carmel Lodge 185 Scholarship Application

SCHOLARSHIP APPLICATION

The Fraternal Order of Police, Carmel Lodge #185 is pleased to offer this financial aid to eligible graduating high school seniors. The applicant must be a high school senior in Hamilton County and must be a child or step-child of an active member of Lodge #185, in good standing. This aid is offered to high school seniors who plan to enter an accredited Indiana college with the intention of pursuing a career in law enforcement. The amount of the aid will be determined by the members of the lodge based upon review of the applications and the accompanying letters. It is imperative that this application be completed in full and returned to the lodge as soon as possible. The application must contain all of the necessary signatures and must be accompanied by a letter of recommendation from a counselor or a teacher. The applicant should write a letter outlining his/her future goals as well as explaining how the aid will assist in realizing those goals.

We would ask that each applicant provide a copy of their high school transcript and make themselves available to the members of the lodge for interviews if necessary.

Applications will accepted until April 1, 2006. Recipients will be notified by the Lodge.
