Law enforcement officers and firefighters work 24
hours a day to protect us, our families, and our businesses in Carmel. If these real-life
heroes are killed in the line of duty, their dependent spouses and children may
be left without assistance. The Heroes Club, Inc. of Carmel was incorporated in 1996 to support public safety
officers serving Carmel by providing financial
assistance currently in the amount of $150,000 to the families of public safety
officers killed in the line of duty in Carmel
and Clay Townships. The Heroes Club, Inc. also
provides funds for grants to purchase equipment that saves lives and protects
our community.
